True love trumps all.
This is something Barry learned early on in his relationship with Tracy, whom he shares a 23 year age gap with. Yet, that has not stopped the two of them from falling more and more in love with each other each and every day.
There are many reasons why Barry loves his wife of eight years, and it goes far beyond just her physical beauty. She has a wonderful personality and she treats others right, plus Tracy helps him run a successful business.
“The bottom line is she is a giver and a doer,” Barry said. “She’s always trying to help other people out at all times. She also volunteers for everything.”
Tracy is constantly trying to do things for other people because of the big heart she has. While part of this can be attributed to the tight knit family she comes from, a lot of it just has to do with who she is. She is a compassionate provider who loves on people unconditionally.
This unconditional love is amazing to see, especially when it comes to her son Isaac, aka Spoiled Brat (SB). They call him this because everyone, including himself, knows he is one, but that is just because of how much Tracy loves him.
“She babies and kisses her kids’ butt severely and he needs to see that,” Barry said. “We have set him up well. I got him a dream job. He will even get out of school to do these things. He knows he’s spoiled and he certainly takes advantage of it.”
But enough about SB. The only other thing that needs to be said about this is that Tracy is a wonderful mother who would do anything for her child.
At the same time, as it was mentioned previously, she is someone who is just truly a giver. She is selfless in so many regards and gives back in any way that she can. She wants what is best for others at all times, and a big reason behind that has to do with her beliefs and values.
“She’s a giver,” Barry said. “Tracy’s the head evangelist for our church. The whole church thing started as a promise to my mom on her deathbed. But it turns out Tracy loves church. It’s amazing how it expanded her to give even more than before. Church has changed and helped her grow as a person a ton. She’s super active in our church. And other than just going to church, there’s things we volunteer often.”
Because of the amazing, heartfelt woman that Tracy is, she has helped to change her husband and her son for the better. They are both better people because of her, and they are both thankful for her.
It is no wonder that Barry loves his assistant turned wife as much as he does, and the only regret he has is not taking more time away to spend solely with her. He is looking forward to spending the rest of his life with the love of his life, and he is looking forward to their St. Louis getaway of doing absolutely nothing in the near future.
“She’s taught me that life is just too short. You have to live in the now instead of the future.”
Happy birthday, Tracy. You’ve earned yourself the right to celebrate your life.
