‘You Are Seen’: Angela does so much to keep the Wilson family happy

No matter what life throws her way and no matter how much money is in her bank account, Angela Wilson (aka Baby Deer Legs) finds a way to make the most out of life.

To Angela, it’s not about what you do or how much you spend, but about who you do it with. And for her, family is the most important thing, so as long as she is doing things with her family, she is happy.

“She reminds me of my grandmother,” Angela’s husband Kenny said. “She is the glue that holds everything together. With Christmases; family functions, she’s the one planning it all. Angela’s just the glue that holds everything together. She’s got the beat on the family.”

This is not just the case for extended family either. While Angela loves all her family, she has an extra special love for her husband and children. As she should.

Angela loves spending time with her husband and kids, and whether that is out disc golfing or hanging out at the house, when she is around them she is in her happy place.

On top of loving to hang out with her family, Angela is a great mother who supports her children in everything. There is a wide age range between the kids – Cj (18), Tyler (14), Kendra (3) and Kelsey (7 months) – and Angela finds a way to tend to each of their needs. She is just always there for them, and she loves being a mom.

Cj said, “What has made her a good mother is that no matter how mean or stubborn I am – even though I don’t try to be – she still is always there for me.”

Angela has that unconditional love, which means she will be there for her children no matter what.

She is also there for other people at all times, and the way she treats everyone has become an important part of her life lessons for the kids.

“She teaches them about always being polite,” Kenny said. “Being humble and being polite. Being polite and nice to others. Always doing their chores when no one is looking. Be responsible for your actions. This helps the family run a little smoother.”

You are responsible for the choices you make, and this is something Angela always emphasizes.

She also emphasizes the importance of standing up for one another. Whether this be her kids having each other’s backs or her having their backs, it is important nonetheless.

“Tyler enjoys when they watch movies and hang out,” Kenny said. “He said, ‘She is always there for me and always sticks up for me.’”

Plus, Angela has one of the kindest souls on the face of the planet. She has such a great heart, and that makes her a selfless, loving wife, mother and friend.

Kendra said, “She’s sweet… Mommy’s the mommy!” 

While it has been mentioned how much Angela loves her children, it is important to point out how much they love her back. They love her to the ends of the earth and appreciate all she has done for them.

Kenny admires just how great of a mother his wife is to their children, and he cannot wait to continue on this journey of life with her.

“Sometimes I feel that we don’t notice how far she goes above and beyond, but the family does notice. We try to show as much love as we can. Sometimes she might feel unnoticed. We notice how hard she works to make ends meet.” – Kenny
