Sarah Belzner is an amazing wife and mom who is devoted to her family.
Her husband, Michael, said she is willing to help anyone at any time without asking for anything in return.
“Sarah is totally selfless. She will do anything for me and our sons, Michael Jr. and Aiden,” Michael said. “We all appreciate everything she does for us.”
Although she currently works at Sparrows Point High School, Sarah has twice been a stay-at-home mom, taking time off work to raise her sons. First, she raised Michael until he went to pre-K, and during her second pregnancy, she stayed at home as a mom and nanny to two other young children.
“The fact that she can juggle two kids, a full-time job and home life is incredibly powerful,” Michael said. “There isn’t a better parent in the world than Sarah. She does everything to make sure our kids have what they need to be prepared for school and life.”
When she has free time, she enjoys doing arts and crafts and using her cricut machine to make designs on clothes. She also loves attending the boys’ sporting events.
Michael and Sarah met in middle school, started dating in high school, and have been together since. They were both working at Pizza Hut, and they were headed to a training when they had their first date at a Red Lobster.
“I knew when we finally went out together that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with due to how warm she was,” Michael said. “There was just something so special about her, and she turned out to be a better person than I ever could have dreamed of.”
The couple had a special engagement on a boat at Disney World, and Michael said their wedding day was one of the best days of his life. They lead busy lives with two boys, but Michael loves it when they can have a date night and go to dinner and just walk together talking.
Sarah has limitless energy and enthusiasm, and she gives her best in everything she does. She is always there to listen and offer support and advice, which Michael said is always “spot on.”
“She makes me a better person by showing me what it takes to be a strong person and parent and how to avoid getting overwhelmed,” Michael said.
“Sarah, I am so thankful I have been able to spend the last 20-plus years with you growing our family and navigating through life. We are just getting started, and I can’t wait to spend the next 50-plus years with you. I love you!”
