‘My Beautiful Raschell’: Raschell is the light of Shawn’s world

Selflessness is one of the major traits that describe Raschell Sevy. As are colorful, witty, clever, competitive, planful and thoughtful.

The reality is, no matter how you choose to describe Raschell, you cannot talk about her without being super positive. She goes above and beyond, from always asking others what they need during her trips to Costco, to making sure she shops ahead of time for all of her husband’s extended family’s gifts.

Speaking of her husband, Shawn loves the fact that he can watch sports (except for football) with Raschell. She is always down to go to the games too, and she also loves attending concerts with him.

Heck, he also loves the fact that she will never let him live down the ping pong garage story!

But honesty, when you ask Shawn about his wife, he cannot help but to light up in talking about her. She makes his world go round, and she is the love of his life.

“She means everything to me,” Shawn said. “I get super, super excited when I look at her. I’m looking forward to growing old with her. She’s also funny, witty and smart.”

From the moment Shawn met Raschell, he knew how special she was. She has a heart of gold, and she is the type of person you want to build a life around.

This very reason is why he was not afraid to make her the stepmom to his children. She is so great with them, and she is a tremendous grandmother as well.

“Raschell volunteers her time for everybody, including my children – Jake and Kylie – and our grandchildren – Beau, Evangeline, Daffney and Tobias,” Shawn said. “She helps watch my son Jake’s two dogs – Buddy and Serious Black – as well as her mom Laura’s dog, Payton.”

Oh yeah, you cannot highlight all the good things about Raschell without talking about her love of animals. She is so great with all furry friends, and she is super enthusiastic about them.

She is also super enthusiastic about her new job at Cannon Water. She just became an administrative assistant there recently, and Shawn is super proud of her for getting to see the fruits of her labor.

He is also super glad he gets to learn from his wife on a daily basis. She is a very selfless individual who brings out the best in him each and every day, and Shawn does not complain about that one bit.

“Raschell makes me love and care for individuals in a way I could never imagine,” Shawn said. “Her patience and thoughtfulness rival no other. I’m so grateful for her every day.”

Shawn loves his wife and he loves living life with her, and he cannot wait to spend the rest of his moments on earth with this outworldly woman.
