There is a special woman who resides in Carmel, Indiana. She is a wonderful mother, a loving daughter, and a beloved wife. She has been recognized internationally for being elite at her job, and now her husband, Dreyson Boyd, wants her to know how special she is at home.
“I want everyone to know how amazing my wife Michelle is,” said Dreyson. “She is a fantastic mother, a doting wife, and the relationship that she has with her father is one I aim to achieve with our two girls,” he continued.
Michelle Boyd is a nurse at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has worked there since 2016.
She demonstrates clinical excellence and compassionate care that has not gone unnoticed. In 2021, Michelle won the Daisy Award, international recognition for exemplary work in her field.
While Michelle demonstrates excellence in her profession, it pales in comparison to the rock star mom that she is at home.
“There is no other way to say it,” said Dreyson. “Michelle is the best mother, period.” While others may contest to Dreyson’s claim, there is no doubt that Michelle displays her motherly talents daily. She fills the home with love, support and an infectious laugh.
Michelle and Dreyson have two beautiful daughters, 2-year-old Lucy and 4-month-old Loretta. Michelle showers them with hugs and kisses. “She works so hard. I don’t know where she finds the energy or patience for us,” said Dreyson.
Dreyson and Michelle both attended Indiana State University at roughly the same time. They were both actively involved in “Greek Life” on campus. At one point, they even lived next door to each other. Somehow, their paths never crossed until years later, when a popular dating app brought them together.
In 2019 Dreyson was on Hinge and came across Michelle’s profile. “I immediately swiped right, and we were a match,” he said. After talking, they made a date to meet at Urban Vines. “We laughed all night, and shut the place down,” said Dreyson.
Since that first date, the two have been busy. They purchased their first home in 2020, married in 2021, parents a year later, then on to the purchase of their dream home, and welcoming a second daughter in 2024.
The two have had an impressive run of accomplishments and love. They have done all of this while Michelle worked the front lines of a pandemic.
Favorite memories they share include the Dave Matthews Band concert, frequent trips to the beaches of Florida, the proposal in Nashville, honeymoon in Mexico, and of course, the birth of their two precious daughters.
Dreyson knows they have accomplished a lot in a short time, but feels the best is yet to come. “She has taught me to be more accountable. She shows me how to trust and respect those I love on a deeper level. I know we will only grow stronger together. It has been a wild ride, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us. She is my life partner, and I love her beyond compare.”
