Good Days Ahead: Every day with Renaya is a good day, and that is part of why Tom cannot wait to marry her

Tom and Renaya met through a Facebook single parents support group that she hosted an event through. After a couple fun filled date nights, they started going out.

What made this relationship a little easier in a way was they both knew a lot about each other. Tom and Renaya had both dealt with past relationship drama, and they both have the ability to see the glass as half full.

On top of this, Tom and Renaya brought a combined three children into this blended family, and for Tom, he feels privileged to have such a great guardian for his children.

“She never loses her cool and always keeps a pretty cool demeanor no matter what happens,” Tom said. “She talks to the kids in a calm voice and always tries to explain why she does certain things. She is always looking for little treats or surprises for the kids when she is out shopping.”

For Renaya, the kids come first. She loves them all so much, and it is clear she would do anything for them.

She is also a role model to all three of them, and with good reason. She is a hardworking legal assistant and a wonderful family woman, and there is nothing she would not do for anyone.

Her work ethic is off the charts, and Tom and the kids all know Renaya has worked feverishly to get to where she is at right now.

“I admire her drive with her career; her drive to be a strong woman that doesn’t depend on a man, but just wants a man in her life,” Tom said. “She has a very realistic approach to all situations, and usually has very intelligent ways to handle tough situations.”

The independence Renaya possesses is something Tom truly appreciates about her. He knows she goes after what she wants and never takes crap from anyone either.

Plus, she is someone who is always in his corner. From all the memories they’ve made (i.e. the apple pie shot incident, the pink fishing dress incident and the proposal), to all the intimate moments they’re shared, Tom just knows Renaya is right for him.

“She means absolutely everything to me,” he said. “I have never matched up with someone so well; never cared for someone other than my kids as much as I do for her. Our blended family with our kids is the most amazing thing ever and everyone gets along great. I never thought anyone would change my opinion on getting married, but here we are. Waking up to her and going to sleep with her at night is the best thing I could have ever asked for.”

Renaya is the light of Tom’s world and the love of his life. She is beautiful, caring, heartfelt and has a great laugh to go along with her personality (which, by the way, is much bigger than her 5-foot-3 stature).

Renaya loves hard and makes life more than memorable, and Tom is just grateful he gets to soon call her his wife. She is special in every sense of the word, and she has truly changed his life for the better.

“I want her to know that I wouldn’t want to spend the rest of my life with anyone else other than her. She is my person, and I know that she and I can get through anything. I know sometimes my mouth gets me in trouble, but most times she handles it pretty well. I love making her laugh so I can hear her amazing laugh and see her contagious smile. It’s impossible to have a bad day when I come home to her.” – Tom
