Vince Marino has a lot to be proud of in life.
For starters, he is married to his high school sweetheart, with whom he has four kids and five grandkids.
Another thing Vince should be proud of is his success in his career(s). And as he retires, he can now reflect back on how all the hard work he has put in truly paid off.
Vince began his career as a Physical Therapist. For around 16 years of that career, he owned two outpatient practices. In his first career, Vince showed off his love of making a difference in people’s lives, and it was a job that suited him well.
His second career suited him just as well, as it was another career where Vince got to be directly involved in helping people out in numerous ways. He built his career from the ground up with Edward Jones, where he has been a financial advisor since the turn of the century.
Each and every day, Vince has shown up with a smile on his face and with his heart on his sleeve. He went to work each day knowing that his job can positively impact the lives of his many clients, and he worked hard to help people reach their goals of financial freedom.
“Vinny always leads with the heart,” his now-former coworker Darcy Beeman said. “He sees the person in the situation and not just the situation. He gives everyone the benefit of the doubt and finds good in everyone.”
He was the kind of person who his coworkers looked toward when they needed advice and counsel, or if they just needed a little pick-me-up. He helped keep people on track, and he showed genuineness day-in and day-out.
This genuineness not only boded well for his coworkers and clients either. As great of a worker as Vince has been, he has also had a lot of work-life balance throughout the years. He loved his job and always put his best foot forward, but everyone who knows him knows he is a family man first and foremost.
“Vin has very strong family values and a positive attitude,” his wife of 40 years, Sue, said. “He is driven and very goal-oriented. He is unconditionally loving and a very proud man.”
A lot of that drive was sparked by knowing he had a wonderful wife and kids to come home to every day. He worked hard for them, and they all look up to the hardworking man that he is.
They also look up to Vince because of his big heart and his undying love for them.
“His children would say his unconditional love and nonjudgmental attitude is a great attribute,” Sue said. “His grandchildren love to laugh at the crazy and silly things he says. His signature move is to make up songs for every occasion that quickly catch on and stick around for years. He is the king of one-liners!”
Vince is the king of one-liners, the epitome of hard work, and he is someone you probably want to keep highlighters out of reach from.
He is just a great overall person who has sacrificed so much for his family and for the job, and he now gets to enjoy a lengthy retirement.
“Vin is a very loving, caring, unselfish person. Everything that his family has and has done is because of his unending love and dedication to all of us, and we love him dearly for that. He is the heart and soul of our family with a little crazy thrown in.” – Sue
