When Robert met Ashley, there was nothing super special about it. They just both happened to be in some of the same groups.
However, after getting to know each other a little bit, they both realized how much their values aligned with one another. They are both devout Christians who put a lot of emphasis on faith, and they also realized their personalities just meshed.
Also, Robert said Ashley’s smile was so bright and amazing it lit up the room. She was also this super outgoing individual, and her spirit stood out above everything else. And, of course, they shared the same Biblical values.
“Both of our moms stressed having a relationship with God,” Robert said. “We were both church-going people when we met. We continued it with our family.”
Robert said the only time the family misses church is if someone is sick or they are out of town. They have their traditional values of family time, which includes Friday night movie nights at home, but on Sunday mornings, it is all about going to church.
Her being a Christian is just one of the many things Robert admires about Ashley though. She is also a woman of great character.
At work, she is always fighting for the little guy. Ashley is a VP of community affairs, and she certainly places an emphasis on bringing people together day in and day out.
She does this with her friends as well. Ashley is all about connections and making sure people are happy, and she just always shows up for everyone.
“She’s definitely the mother of the group,” Robert said. “She’s compassionate with friends. Her parental instinct even with her friends. It’s very, very contagious. Ashley goes from being a mother at home to having that same motherly instinct with her friends and family as well.”
Speaking of which, Ashley is a top-notch mother on the home front. She would do anything and everything for their children, and she is constantly thinking of them.
Ashley is her kids’ beacon of hope and pillar of support, and her strength as a mother is untethered. She loves her children so much, and she is patient, loving, kind, compassionate, and so much more. She is the rock and the foundation of the house, and she is loved for that.
“Her patience with me and the kids is amazing,” Robert said. “As is her balance of work life and home life. We’re just appreciative of that. That balance she brings to the table is priceless. And the patience to deal with a son, a daughter and a husband.”
You know how they say some people are born to be a mom? Well, Ashley is definitely one of those people. She is the type of mom who has natural instincts, and her kids really gravitate toward her.
Not only that, but she is the type of mom who will get down on the floor with her kids. They are 8-year-old twins, and they are certainly little pistols that keep her busy, but they both love her so much and know how much she does for them.
“I love mommy very much,” Avery said. “She always takes care of me and helps me with my homework.”
Whether it is homework or anything else, Ashley is constantly helping her kids with it.
She also focuses a lot of time instilling a lot of values into them. She is the type of mom who is the leader of the household and the role model, as even Robert has learned a thing or two from his wife.
“She’s taught me to try not to think so negatively,” Robert said. “Speak it into existence. Try to be positive. Take the opposite approach of the world and have a positive attitude.”
Positivity is a huge part of Ashley’s make-up, and it is why, the moment you step foot into the same room as her, you can feel an atmosphere shift. She spreads pure joy wherever she goes, and she is just a truly positive presence.
She makes a huge impact on her family as well, as she is just super loved and admired.
Robert IV said, “I love my mommy bigger than China.”
That’s a whole lot of love! And yet, it still does not amass how much Ashley really is appreciated and admired. She is her family’s everything, and she means a lot to many.
“We want Ashley to know how much she is appreciated. Nothing gets done without her. She continues to show up daily and love our family.” – Robert
