Lifetime Lovers: Patrick and Mia have known each other for a long time, and their relationship is something out of a book

Considering Patrick and Mia have known each other for as long as they have, and have been as close as they have been over that course of time, it should not come as a surprise that they wound up together and are meant to be together.

Patrick Duffy and Mia Iannucci have known each other since the third grade. Mia attended Patrick’s sister school, they lived less than five minutes away from each other and they even went to every homecoming together. You could say they are high school sweethearts, but that would be discrediting their relationship. They are elementary school lovers, and their relationship is amazing to see.

In fact, they just celebrated five years on February 7, but anyone who knows them knows the start of their relationship was long before that.

“Mia means everything to me,” Patrick said. “She has been my best friend for over 10 years. We have been there for each other through all the many highs and lows over the years. She has overall made me a better person.”

Everything they do, they do together. From going to Buffalo Wild Wings to walking the dog to going vacationing to spending time with friends, everything is better when they are together.

Patrick and Mia have had each other’s backs through all that life has thrown their way. They have stuck by each other’s side, and they always make it to the other side because they have each other.

For Patrick, loving Mia is also a very easy thing to do. She is such an amazing person with such a wonderful personality, and she is truly special.

“What makes her stand out is her kindness, intelligence, sense of humor and the fact that she is full of love,” Patrick said. “She has been there for me by my side for all the bad things that have happened to me, no matter whether it is a surgery or just not wanting to talk.”

Mia is the one person Patrick knows he can count on in his life, and she has always been there for him. She is an everlasting presence, and he is grateful for her.

He is also grateful for how amazing a person she is. On top of the things he said that stand out, Patrick also mentioned that his girlfriend is a go-getter who is smart, hardworking and organized. Mix all these things together and you have one exceptional woman.

Patrick said he has even learned a thing or two – or a thousand – from Mia over the years. She teaches him each and every day just by being her, and he loves that.

“I have learned ambition from her as she sets high goals for herself and achieves them,” Patrick said. “I have learned to try to open up more and be more emotional. I have learned about compromising and finding the best solutions that can be good for both of us.”

Something else that stands out to Patrick is the fact that Mia is a people person. She is in tune with people’s thoughts and emotions, and her genuineness is a sight to behold. Mia loves people and she loves being there for others, and she is selfless on top of being a shoulder to cry on.

“She always makes time to talk and listen to people,” Patrick said. “Mia is always there for everyone that is close to her. She goes out of her way to be nice to others, even in situations others wouldn’t.”

Patrick is constantly blown away by just how amazing his girlfriend is. She is so full of love, kindness and laughter, and she has a great outlook on life. She treats everyone with respect and is someone he can trust and count on to always be there for him.

Patrick could not imagine life without Mia, and he is looking forward to spending the rest of his life with her.

“She is the best thing to happen to me. I am glad we have been together for so long. I can’t wait for the future. I am proud of her for everything she has accomplished, especially her award at the Washington Media Scholars Foundation.” – Patrick
