Loyal & Loving: These are just two of the many words that can be used to describe who Keisha Rowland is

When you ask Greg about his wife, Keisha, you can see a particular glow in his eyes and smile on his face that makes you realize just how much he loves her.

And rightfully so, because Keisha is one special woman who he is lucky to call his wife. She keeps him honest and balanced, is a supermom and is a wonderful daughter, sister and friend to many. Keisha loves with all her heart, and she has a knack for loving life and living it to the fullest.

“Keisha is the most energetic, engaging, entertaining and unique person I’ve ever met,” Greg said. “She lives in her own world without worrying about what others think or accepted norms. She lives in the moment, brightening up every place with her huge presence, and is always looking for a good time. She deeply cares about family, friends and strangers alike. She is always helping those less fortunate.”

Keisha is always giving, both of her time and of her resources, and anyone who is in her life realizes just how much she cares.

This rings particularly true with her brother, four children and granddaughter. Keisha has always been there for them and has always had the biggest heart of all of them, and the way she helped raise her brother and the things she taught her children are outright amazing.

“She parents with love,” Greg said. “Keisha always knows how to disarm and approach the children without escalating the situation. She’s relatable too. She keeps up with current trends and is understanding and speaks the kids’ language. She is a playful child at heart. She perfectly balances my harder approach and often shows me better ways of doing things.”

To Greg, Keisha has been the woman of his dreams ever since they first met. They were long lost school sweethearts who rekindled their love at just the right time in their lives, and Greg is beyond grateful for her.

From her ability to soften his attitude to making memories watching movies and traveling, to her ability to have made the most out of being a military wife, there is so much to be said about the woman that is Keisha Rowland.

“All I ever thought about since meeting her was when I would be able to spend time with her next,” Greg said. “We had a long-distance relationship for quite some time, but had a ball when we were together. That was when letters were the primary way to communicate. Any other ladies just didn’t measure up. They didn’t have that magic I felt with her. I never questioned the thought of being with Keisha forever. No doubt whatsoever.”

In fact, there was so much lack of doubt that Greg never officially proposed to Keisha. They one day just looked at each other and said, “Why don’t we get married.”

Twenty years later they are still happily married to one another, and Greg knows in his heart of hearts that Keisha is the one and only woman for him.

“Even when I criticize Keisha or complain about things that drive me nuts, I never fail to appreciate all that she does. I know that she puts up with me, keeps me in line, looks out for my best interests, is the world’s best mother, and is my loyal and loving wife I am so proud of.”
