Darwin Barlow is staying in the great state of Texas to continue his standout football career. The senior from Newton High School is now committed to TCU as a running back with a chance to thrive at the next level. Barlow picked the Horned Frogs over Baylor, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Houston, LSU and a host of others who see promise in the 5-11, 195-pounder.
Barlow is physical and has the footwork to wiggle past defenders, and he does his work between the tackles and on the perimeter. He is the complete package of skills and has the vision and instincts to match. TCU is getting a real player with the maturity to perhaps see the field early.
With his college commitment made, Barlow is today’s FrontPage Recruit of the Day. Here’s a look at the highlight film from his junior season.
