The Humane Society International (H.S.I), one of the largest non-profit organizations with the aim of supporting animal welfare, was founded on November 22, 1991.
Afterwards, this day turned into the Humane Society Anniversary Day, celebrating the formation of this organization.
Each year, H.S.I works together with more than 50 countries around the world to save hundreds of animals from cruelty. They also collaborate with policymakers in drafting animal-related legislations and statements.
Currently, there are over 12 million animal advocates worldwide who participate in H.S.I to continue making differences for the lives of animals.
All creatures are created equal. Animals cannot talk like humans, but they need a voice as well, which calls for each of us to treat animals with love and cherish their lives.

From the Thanksgiving proclamations from Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln to the Turkey Day we all know and love today, Thanksgiving is a truly great holiday to get together with family and a reminder to give thanks for all we have.
So today, November 24, 2022, let’s carve up a turkey, scoop some potatoes, eat vegetables mixed with a little extra fat and love, fill up on dessert and fall asleep while watching the Lions, Bills and Vikings host the annual Thanksgiving Day NFL games. And let’s not forget to thank our family and friends while we’re at it.

Are you ready to take out your pocketbook and raid your favorite stores on November 25?
Yes, it is Black Friday, one of the craziest times year round after Thanksgiving. A large number of people would stand in long lines outside shopping malls to buy a bunch of stuff.
Most importantly, plenty of stories today would provide different discounts to people, which could save a lot of money than usual.
Although Black Friday is a shop heaven for customers to have fun and stores to generate profits, it is also a huge crowd-controlling nightmare for the police officers. Many cops usually spend the whole day managing the order of each street.
While today’s shopping gives us great deals, bonding with friends and family members can totally outweigh the pleasure of purchasing goods.
