You can take one look at the Simpson clan and tell they are a family built on togetherness. They do so much as a family, and they are just always there for each other.
The driving force behind this is their family matriarch, Ashley. This “craft nerd” is full of patience when it comes to her husband and daughter, and at the same time she is very nurturing and devoted. She would clearly do anything for Kenneth and Camryn, and Ashley’s love for them clearly never wavers.
“She’s a great partner and a great mom,” Kenneth said. “Ashley is my best friend. She’s my daughter’s best friend too. We’re a pretty tight-knit family.”
Ashley being the family woman that she is comes as absolutely zero surprise to Kenneth. She was someone who was particularly close with her own family when this couple met, but more than that, Kenneth could tell off the bat she was in it for the long haul. He and Ashley’s relationship was tested early on with some trials and tribulations, but the love they have for each other has always reigned supreme.
The love Ashley has for their daughter is also something that has been admirable in Kenneth’s eyes. She loves Camryn with all her heart, and they are a very supportive family. Anything Camryn does, her mother is there to help her and cheer her on.
“She is a great mom because of how much she cares,” Kenneth said. “How protective she is. How involved she is in my daughter’s life on a daily basis.”
Camryn plays soccer, and you can be sure Ashley is there in the stands for every game. She shows up for her baby girl, and she also helps push her to be the best she can be.
“I’m extremely grateful to have a mom like her,” Camryn said.
Ashley is very involved with the rest of her family as well, which is something that is particularly rubbing off on Camryn. Ashley loves spending time with her family and with the in-laws, and she is constantly showing off the importance of family.
What is great about that is Ashley is also very sincere in her ways. The Simpsons hang out with extended family so much because it is something Ashley genuinely enjoys.
Ashley is also the type of person who is there for her family. She lends a helping hand whenever they need it, and her selflessness shines through every day.
Speaking of which, Ashley is very dedicated to everyone else around her as well. Whether it be friends, coworkers or anyone in between, Ashley shows up and she remains a steady, loyal force.
“She genuinely cares about people,” Kenneth said. “She’s not fake, but sincere. She asks questions. When she wants to get to know you, she wants to get to know you. She’s sincere.”
Sincerity is a great quality about Ashley that cannot be overemphasized. It is a big part of her, because with her what you see is what you get. She is not fake and never presents herself that way.
She just has a huge heart, and that bodes well for so many people. It bodes well for animals too, as Ashley loves treating her furry friends the right way.
She loves to work hard as well. Her work ethic as a construction company project manager is truly second to none, and Kenneth said she gives it 110 percent day in and day out.
“She’s always been a strong worker since the day I met her,” he said. “She’s always stressing about the job. She’s always been a hard worker. She’s consistent. She’s a go-getter. She’s very organized.”
Kenneth and Camryn look up to Ashley because of this, along with many other reasons. She is amazing and funny, and her intelligence is through the roof. She is someone who makes an instant impression on people too, and that is not taken lightly.
The family cannot wait to spend many more days on the river and out in the desert together, because when they are with Ashley, they are happy and at their best.
“She’s my best friend,” Camryn said. “I would be lost without her.”
Kenneth feels he would be lost without his amazing wife as well, as she too is the “best friend a guy could hope for.” She is truly the family’s matriarch and their everything, and they love her so, so much.
“You’re the reason I wake up every day and do what I can to make my girls happy.” – Kenneth
