Emerge Education is marking its 10th anniversary this summer, and it has a lot to celebrate.
The central Pennsylvania-based business launched in 2014 in an effort to bring together educators, administrators, and specialists with industry know-how to deliver top-tier educational services. Emerge Education delivers education across professional fields, including marketing, recruiting, retention, technology, and consultation to higher education partners. According to company CEO Jim Hunter, Emerge Education partners with leading companies, universities, and institutions “to assist in bringing adult learners to online educational opportunities in obtaining bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate, and certificate programs.”
“Emerge combines high-value program content and educational service expertise to deliver critical certification programs to enhance the skilling and re-skilling of employees and fuel organizational growth,” Hunter says. “Additionally, we target area high schools with skills-based programs that lead toward career opportunities, helping students down a fulfilling path while helping organizations fill critical skilled positions in their workforce.”
The company focuses on online learning and education to offer organizations and individuals opportunities to expand their knowledge with skills to meet current and future workforce challenges. “The nation’s workforce is facing an uphill battle, with a deficit of 1.7 million workers compared to February 2020,” Hunter adds. “We believe we are here to help address these industry pain points, by providing education and employee upskilling solutions.”
The company also plays a role in preparing high schoolers for success. Emerge Education gives these students guidance on how to choose the right career and works with organizational executive leadership, school district superintendents, and government leaders to develop funding solutions that provide resources to students.
“Emerge has continued to evolve into a next-level education solutions company that now adds workforce development to our higher education success,” says company COO Scott McQuinn. “Emerge continues to offer our support services and workforce development programs to higher education clients, working with school leadership and administrators to fulfill their educational services needs. We further help our higher education partners by offering these institutions international student recruitment, marketing, and retention services.”
As Emerge Education continues to look to the future, it is committed to continued leadership in next-level educational solutions, driving innovation to meet the evolving needs of the education and workforce development sectors. The company also recently achieved an exciting new goal of co-producing a new program that addresses stress and burnout among healthcare professionals and administrators and is tailored specifically for organizations. “Resiliency in Modern Health Care” is designed to help healthcare systems address burnout rates and fill critical nursing, physician, and allied healthcare staffing roles.
Emerge Education is based in Camp Hill, PA, but the company’s impact extends across the nation and continues to spread due to the difference it is making in creating a better future for employers and employees alike.
