It was through fasting and praying that Ola Babatunde was led to his wife, Olujimi. He felt conviction, discernment and peace of mind after spending ample time with their Lord and Savior, and he knows he could not ask for a better woman of God.
You could call Olujimi Ola’s Proverbs 31 woman. You could even call her his soulmate. You could call her his everything. No matter how you put it, though, one thing is for sure: Olujimi is a truly special and remarkable woman.
“She is a prayer warrior and a praise and worship leader,” Ola said. “She is also a hard worker, mission-oriented and a lover of God.”
In the Babatunde household, it is God first, always. They make sure they are constantly doing things to serve the Kingdom, which includes reading the Bible and other Christian literature books, worshiping and praying.
In fact, Olujimi uses one Bible verse (Ephesians 4:13 to be exact) to help her children grow in their faith as well. She is setting them on a path of spiritual maturity and living the life they believe God wants them to, and Ola absolutely admires this.
Ola also admires the fact that his wife leads by example and is a true role model to their kids. She is there for them in every way, and they love her so much.
“Olujimi is a good mother because she is a prayerful mother and commands her children to serve God,” Ola said.
Even before becoming a mother, Olujimi was already a family woman. She is dedicated and devoted to being there for her loved ones and caring for them in every way possible.
Olujimi is an extremely hard worker too. She is a community pharmacy manager, and she excels at that. She shows love and heart through her work and the way she treats others at the workplace, and the love of Jesus certainly shines through her.
At the end of the day, that is what it is all about. Ola knew this when he met Olujimi through family, and he has seen her grow in her relationship with both him and God. They pray together and fellowship together, and they have even gone through spiritual counseling together, and Ola knows that has helped make he and Olujimi the loving couple they are today.
“I admire my wife’s devotion and dedication to God and God’s mission,” Ola said. “She is always multitasking and balancing work with home and family demand as well.”
Olujimi does everything well, and she is always putting her best foot forward. She lives a selfless life that a lot of people would love to take after and mimic, and Ola knows God gave him a good one.
The Babatunde family feels truly blessed by Olujimi’s presence, and they are just grateful they get to spend the rest of their lives with her while serving God together.
“I thank God for another year of joyful memories, and I pray that He will continue to bless our marriage. I pray that we will become more patient and encouraging as we grow closer together this year and always. Happy Anniversary, Honey!” – Ola
