Steve Libby is a guy that is always going to have your back.
As a husband and a father of four children, a son-in-law and three dogs, he is as loyal as they come, and he has always stayed true to his roots.
He is a Memphis guy, tried and true, and he has always made an impact in and around the community. He is also a huge Memphis Tigers and Memphis Grizzlies fan, and he has stuck with his teams throughout the years, no matter how good or bad they have been.
“He is a selfless guy,” Steve’s kids – Adam, Margo, Justin and Katie – said. “Our dad always puts wife, kids and family before him and is always there for any function or activity to support the family. He is also loud and funny, and he often takes his jokes one step over the line. He is also very charitable with time, spending every other Thursday passing out food at Memphis food drive and buying and delivering presents every holiday. He is also an optimistic, happy, fun guy; he always sees the good in others.”
Name a positive quality and Steve probably exudes that every day. He is the true definition of a selfless, sacrificial person who is always going above and beyond to make sure every single person around him is taken care of.
He is always so giving, and he does not want anyone around him to feel like they do not belong. He is accepting of everyone, and he cares deeply about everyone.
This rings especially true when it comes to his family. Steve would do anything for them, and they appreciate all that he has done for them over the years.
“Dad is always there for his family and friends,” his four kids said. “He is a hard worker, and he always gives his all in whatever he does.”
No matter what the situation is, Steve is always persevering, and he is always doing things out of love. He never does anything less than 100 percent.
He has also created so many memories over the years with his children – from making their pancakes fly to the art of scalping tickets – and he has always shown them how to give it your all.
He is not afraid to try new things for the sake of helping others, as he recently repelled down a building for the sake of raising money for the food bank, and he shows what true, maximum effort looks like.
Steve is always giving it his all, and he has been a great role model for his children over the years. They love and appreciate him for all they have done, and they could not imagine a better father over the years.
“Happy 58th dad, we all love you and are so proud to have you as our dad! All your hard work is recognized by us, and you are the best role model and dad!” – Steve’s loving children
