Independent, vivacious and caring – when you hear these qualities, you think of Connie Fullenlove. When Ron met Connie for the first time while he was helping her ex-husband move out, these traits were striking. From then on, he knew he had to keep seeing her.
After their first dinner date on Black Friday in 2019, they’ve been inseparable. From traversing through different vacation spots to hanging out with the kids, Ron and Connie cherish all time spent with one another.
Their first vacation together was the Outer Banks and they had the most incredible time. Afterwards, they’ve been to places such as the Finger Lakes (Connie loved the food and wine), a cruise to the Bahamas, and many trips to the beach.
While these moments are some of Ron’s most beloved, the memory of Connie surprising him for his 60th birthday is his favorite. “She told me that she and Gina were going to New York on a bus trip for the day. I was going swimming with my son and his family and my daughter… so I thought,” said Ron.
And that’s when she surprised him. He had the best time that day with Connie and all of their friends, family and co-workers.
In her free time, Connie adores going out with friends, trips to New York, exercising, decorating the house, and spending time with her three lovely cats – Masie, Clover, and the favorite, Sammy.
Ron admires Connie’s devotion to doing the things that she loves and it inspires him to live as happily as she does. “She is always on the go and will try to do whatever anyone asks of her. She is very independent and self-sufficient,” he said.
Connie makes Ron a better person in numerous ways. Mainly, he appreciates how she always asks the question, “Why?”
This is significant to Ron because it allows him to think of the “whys” in life and forces him to see things with greater meaning. And without Connie, his life wouldn’t be as meaningful as it is with her by his side. He also appreciates all the little things that she does that do not go unnoticed!
Additionally, she is an amazing mother to Tara and Erika. Always there for whatever is needed. She loves spending time with her mother and daughters at the beach creating memories that last a lifetime.
She is an incredible listener, always granting the best advice in times of need. As a loving mother, mother-in-law, daughter, friend and wife, Connie touches the lives of so many in the best way; she is a constant shining light to those that know her.
“The world is a much better place with Connie in it.” – Ron
