Well Respected: People love being around Michelle

“Nothing has been easy for her, and she’s overcome it.”

This is the underlying theme of Michelle Pawlina’s life. She is a single mother who works three jobs (school nurse, hospital nurse and commercial actress) and would do anything for anybody.

Michelle originally studied acting at The Burt Reynolds Institute for Theater after graduating from UConn, and then 30 years later she went back and obtained her nursing degree from the University of Rhode Island. In all that, she has shown how hard work and determination pays off, as she poured a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears into it all.

“She does work three jobs and her work ethic is unbelievable,” her boyfriend George Ball said. “She’s always been a waitress at some high-class restaurants. She is experienced at those. When we first met, she was cleaning one day a week at a church. She was doing all this while going back to school. When she was going for her nursing degree, she was working two jobs.”

Nothing can stop Michelle from setting goals and crushing them. She never settles, and she never misses a beat.

Michelle is a top-notch actress on top of all this. George runs an advertising agency, and he loves booking her for television and radio commercials. He thinks she is as good as they come, and a whole lot of people would tend to agree.

Of course, as a nurse, Michelle also shows her loving nature. She is a nurse who cares deeply about her patients, and she makes an impact on a lot of patients’ lives. She works as a school nurse in the Vernon school system primarily, and then secondarily as a hospital nurse.

And yet, in all this, in all the countless hours she puts into working, there has to be a reason why, right? Surely there has to be a driving force behind why she works multiple jobs to the point where many people would get burned out.

Rest assured, there is. She does all this so she can provide for her son and be the best role model for him. She spent years as a single mother, and she has been a role model of work ethic and always prioritizing her kid.

“She’s a great mother,” George said. “She’s devoted to him. She always has been. She’s devoted to his happiness and success. Growing up, Michelle never missed a swim meet or baseball game. She rarely missed a practice either. He is now at the University of New Hampshire.”

Despite all the long, hard hours Michelle has put into work, that somehow does not even compare to the countless hours she has put into being there for her son. He is her entire world, and he is her everything.

And to Fernando, his mother is the one person he can always count on. He loves the fact that she is reliable, trustworthy, and a great friend and protector.

“She has taught me to be my own person and how to be strong and work through anxiety and my other troubles,” Fernando said.

Life is not easy, but as mentioned before, Michelle has been able to get through anything life throws at her. Her son is learning to do the same thing, and he is really appreciative of her because of this.

Fernando appreciates the way his mother treats other people too. She is the type of friend who, if she says she is going to do something, she is going to do it. Not only is she not a procrastinator, but she is someone who is just always there.

Michelle’s heart is so huge, and her selflessness toward her friends cannot be overstated. She is a truly reliable confidant.

“She is kind to others and always takes care of everyone, especially her patients at her elementary school,” Fernando said. “She told me a story about a little kid, John, who didn’t have sneakers for gym. He would run around in boots with no socks, so she bought him sneakers for Christmas.”

That is just the kind of genuine compassion Michelle has toward others. She did not even hesitate to provide John with a pair of sneakers, and she never hesitates to step in and help people in any other capacity.

She is more than just a selfless friend too. Michelle is funny, loves life and is just a blast to be around.

Michelle has a special bond with her second best friend too. Casey is a little dog who brings Michelle a ton of happiness, and George loves seeing that smile on her face… even if he was not a huge fan of getting Casey in the first place. But he loves Casey now!

There are a whole lot of other reasons why George was drawn to his significant other as well.

“Number one, her personality,” he said. “Her humor is great. She’s funny. She is a good actress. She was quick to pick up things. She’s a very attractive girl. Personality; appearance; just the whole ball of wax.”

Michelle was everything George was looking for in a companion and then some. She was way more than he bargained for, and he is not complaining at all. She is the love of his life and the person he loves adventuring with.

They love traveling and dining together, and Michelle is just consistently there for George.

“She makes sure to make time for him even though they live far away, and she lets him do what he wants to do and be who he wants to be,” Fernando said. “She isn’t trying to make him into whatever she wants, but lets him be himself.”

George is a professional handicapper who realizes there are many times he puts his work before others. He also realizes that Michelle is very patient with him and loves him for who he is.

He also would be remiss to not mention Michelle’s mother, Diane, who she is very close with and brings along wherever they go. Michelle keeps her mom involved, and that is very admirable.

Everything about Michelle Pawlina is admirable, as she is dedicated, hardworking and compassionate. She loves people and she loves life, and people can learn a whole lot from her.

“I do love her and do appreciate her. I appreciate her patience with me. I respect her. I respect everything about her. Just her honesty with life. And her loyalty. I appreciate her loyalty to her son, her loyalty to her mother, her loyalty to me, her loyalty to her friends and her loyalty to her work.” – George
